When they would sing, they would sing of his presence, and out of their mouths was never a question. They listened and wept with the waves of the current, but that's all apparent yeah just part of the sermon.

Their tongues would become dry like smoke. They spit out the lyrics until they would choke. That's not the ending that I would have wrote, that's not the outcome that I would have chose.

That city grown with no such culture. At every position flew by a vulture. Stooping and swaying getting much closer. I gathered my strength and held on to the motions.

They would sing till their tongues caught fire. Embalmed in wings that would transpire. If just one melody can make a change, it's well past time to rearrange.

Although his wings were like golden moths they lit up all statues that had flourished a plot. I noticed his hands were as vibrant as flames. They withered all literature in spite of his name, and out on open fields they sacrificed blame and they used it as shields. I saw it would burn through the surface and heal, but still they would feel yeah they knew it was real. They gathered all of their ox. They asked the spirit for plenty of rain, they promised and promised built a church in his name, and there it would stand until the flood came. It came like the rain and just washed it away. The shores were of houses and made up of shacks. They're not boarding up windows and not coming back.
